Excellent post! I'm glad I made the suggestion for this topic. I concur with your analysis. Extensive brain training (especially using mnemonic devices) is a sine qua non for memory champions—but I've always been intrigued as to what other factors could be playing a significant role in their memorisation abilities. Having better structure would certainly facilitate more training time & furnish them with a larger mental bandwidth. World-class chess players and/or e-sport contestants could be another fun topic to write about!
It’s not completely related to the topic but watching videos and pictures from Iran these days I see beautiful and well structured people there. And I thought it could be probably from food and habits differences they have from the developed countries.
I have a myobrace but wanted to try this too and to support you for all I have learned from you.
I think there is something to this memory thing because Since using my mouth guard consistently I feel way more focused and clear in my thinking. I am remembering things from my childhood that I had forgotten and it’s been less than a month. I sure do appreciate you putting all this information out here for us to learn.
I had TMJ treatment a year ago before I found you and was in a locked occlusion brace for a whole year and my teeth seemed to be getting worse. I listened to you and stopped wearing it. I have had no issues with my jaw with the myobrace in fact it feel so much better!
I think you are right that bad biomechanics can ruin your memory. But so can other things, like lack of sleep (probably the most important one), and brain fog caused by other factors like food intolerances, mold, viruses, parasites, candida, etc.
Really interesting. I'd be curious what percentage say dementia and Alzheimer's patients have had major dental work, aka dentures etc, and then the years between the major decline.
Hello! I am using the reviv R2 now for around 2 months, and I noticed quite a bit of recession on the gums of my canines and around that area. Do they grow back, or should I stop wearing it and buy a R3 for its lessened impact on the gums? Thanks!

But in general...
1- yes i think R3 will be easier on the gums
2- i do think the gums heal up and get healthier as time goes on
3- i think at least part of what folks are seeing is extrusion of the teeth out of the gums as should have happened to begin with >> https://share.cleanshot.com/TWJh83HN
Just made a request, thank you! In my case, most of the times I wear the reviv I feel pain in my gums, and in the morning I notice a bit of blood and a kind of pine tree shaped recession in the gums, mostly on the canines, which seems to keep getting worse as I wear it. All the other benefits I did notice, I feel much better. This is the only thing keeping me from wearing it as I should. Thanks for the reply Ken! All the best.
