I was ready to do something similar with a Hollywood A-lister that i'd written about earlier... as someone in their family was interested in the person trying it.
But the person's spouse dropped the hammer on that idea.
I just have a feeling that unsolicited mail without an intro from someone that the person trusts will go right into the garbage as they probably receive a ton of fan mail daily.
Plus his address would be private.. and id only be able to send to the Yankees. ANd i believe that pro teams do not let parcels thru.. rather only letters.

Also I grew up as a Mets fan... the 1986 Mets were my team... with Gary Carter, Dwight Gooden, Keith Fernandez and crew...
So if i did manage to get to a baseball game... i'd probably have to see if i could fix anyone on the Mets haha
