This seems to discount a lifetime of substance abuse Which certainly may contribute more to health decline than veneers. I love the reviv but I believe this is a stretch.
I'd challenge that. But i view that things really need to proven again in light of these biomechanics.
If there is a hypothesis that substance abuse leads to structural collapse despite stable biomecahnics.. how would u design the test to prove or disprove it?
I have no idea about biomechanics, but substance abuse can cause BPD and others. Additionally, the psychotropic meds usually given for these conditions have some pretty serious side-effects.
I used to think that the biomechanical cause was a stretch as well. But I've come across too many exceptions to the belief that "substance abuse causes health decline" that I'm beginning to question it. For example, see EGK's article about Tommy Lee: https://reviv.substack.com/p/tommy-lee-looks-pretty-amazing-at
there were some that got stuck in customs and we’re emailing the folks to let them know that we need to resend…. so be on the lookout for an email if it has been taking longer than 12 days or so
I’m not sure this R2 medium is right for me. It feels tight & pressure on my upper teeth feels like it’s pushing them in so how is the expanding the palate? Anyway I woke last night with it on my chest so I’m taking it out in my sleep!
I may have to get my dentist to make a flat plane splint & would you suggest make it for top or bottom teeth?
I have same issues as R1. Even tho it’s smaller I can’t close my mouth so I’m mouth breathing & mouth & guard get all dried out. Definitely uncomfortable to wake up with dry mouth! Any suggestions?
Interesting! He's certainly changed a lot since his peak.

yep... also people like Robert Downey Jr. look great for their age.
As a person who has 'collapsed' himself several times in a relatively short period of time and then resurrected himsef..
..i can say firsthand that the power of these biomechanics trumps everything else by many times.
I hope I get the R2 I ordered soon cuz can’t wear the R1 anymore it dries out my mouth!

No email yet. Guess when I get it I’ll be starting all over.
what is your order#? Can u send an email to cs@getreviv.com and we can check and update u
It was left in my mailbox Friday just picked it up today. Does it need to be disinfected before use or can I use straight out of the box?

please write to us at cs@getreviv.com and include your order#
I just picked up my new mouth guard that dentist made. It’s bulky & hard as a brick. Fits tight on upper teeth. Is this correct???
is it flat in how it contacts lower teeth? If so it should help.
But you'll need to replace every few months to allow upper teeth to move too.
I talked about this here https://reviv.substack.com/p/reviv-vs-custom-nightguard

keep wearing the r2 during the day in small increments. Things need to stretch in your mouth and jaw. It will get easier.
If teeth fit into it, size is prob ok.
About flat plane, id suggest bottom teeth
I haven’t worn R2 in over a week. So should I try again or can I return for a refund & have my dentist make the mouth guard to fit?
did you try to wear in small increments during the day? If so, what happened?
No I have t. I had a guest staying here from out of town so didn’t want to wear it. I can’t stand the dry mouth I get when trying to sleep with it.

i would try mouthtaping or chin strap...
Also wear as much as u can during the day in small increments as it is about stretching things out
I have enough trouble sleeping as is!!!
