Great information, thanks for your efforts. Fascinating to consider the very significant impact on physiology seemingly tiny shifts in structure can usher in.
From a Chinese medicine perspective, and after innumerable clinical presentations, learned the incredible harm something like high heels has had on womens' health. With long-term high heel usage, the pelvic structure is exposed to unnatural angles, throwing off normal flow in the region. Tension on certain ligaments becomes problematic, leading to many women being told the only solution to their awful pain and inflammation is a full hysterectomy. Re-read that bit. Countless women likely went under the knife when they simply needed 4-5 acupuncture treatments.
These experiences, plus many other clinical experiences, have helped me really dive into your writings. They dovetail nicely. I applaud your efforts in putting this information on blast. I'm sharing with those in my network who seek discernment.
Thank you… this leads me to a whole other end of this stuff that I honestly don’t explore or understand that much.
And that part is that when you put a constant force on your body (like heels) I think it changes your bite.
And so things are not just descending as i describe… but if you wear things like heels or foot inserts… things can be ascending.
And when things ‘ascend’ my view would be that the impact it has on your occlusion will almost always be detrimental. Because it would be next to impossible for the curve of spee to improve as a result
I dont know much about it but i saw that it's considered a genetic disorder that requires a person to inherit two copies of a recessive defective gene.
So it sounds 'truly' genetic.
But i generally view things as... nothing to lose in trying to wear a rubber guard for awhile..
And i have a feeling more often than not you will be surprised at how it will help.
I think we're in agreement on some things like using Myobrace (REviv One is essentially very similar) but i vehemently disagree with their use of expanders, braces, etc.
The reason for the disagreement is in my view that i understand exactly how the soft tissue works and is the key to the puzzle.
And they dont. So they are shooting in the dark with some tools that work and others that damage.
But anyone that is using expanders & braces... doesn't fully get it. Period.
, I’m still trying to figure it out. I can tell you that so far, my son has had good results with his removable expander. But certainly we want the best treatment out there.
His tongue is always in his mouth now, whereas before his mouth did not have the space for it so he always had tongue out (not literally always but you know what I mean). Point being, his mouth has room for his tongue now. Before, he had a huge overbite but that has been corrected. In any case, I am looking for a local dentist that may help with the composite.
Do you ever write about tongue, lip, cheek ties, etc.
Truthfully, I don’t know the exact mechanics of it, but I’ll guess it’s because his tongue is resting on the top of his mouth now almost always and his jaw is expanding. He can breathe easier, so his mouth is shut now—not mouth breathing.
🤔 interesting. Omg what a massive difference between the twins it really illustrates the point.
Yes you are right that all of this unnecessary intervention has backfired big time.
My motto is avoid the doctors hospital and dentist unless it’s an emergency 🆘

i have an out of the blue question.
how would this Reviv effect someone with Cystic fibrosis?
asking for a friend.
Honest answer.. i'm not sure.

What do you think about “Airway” orthodontics or airway dentistry?

if its not too aggressive it might be relatively ok
was any vertical added to the bite with the expander?
Hmm I don’t know.

How did they 'correct the overbite'? As i often dont agree with how dentists approach that

ok sounds like maybe it was ok then...
