Did these biomechanics impact Luigi Mangione?
Luigi Mangione is suspected of killing the CEO of United Healthcare, Brian Johnson, last week. And had complained of back pain, brain fog and Lyme disease.
The Youtube version
I’d casually read about the killing of the CEO of United Healthcare, Brian Johnson, last week. But hadn’t really thought about it much.
Than someone asked me today whether there were any links to this stuff given that he complained of back pain.
And so I took a look and figured it would make a good topic for today. Given it is so ‘current’.
What happened?
Luigi Mangione, a 26-year-old UPenn graduate from a wealthy Maryland family, allegedly killed United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson in Midtown Manhattan.
He used a 3D printed gun and silencer.
Reports suggest he was influenced by the Unabomber's manifesto and harbored strong anti-corporate sentiments.
But is there a deeper connection to these biomechanics?
Luigi complained of back pain
Prior to the incident, Mangione had experienced significant physical trauma from a surfing accident that left him bedridden.
He described his condition saying, "My back and hips locked up after the accident."
He then went for back surgery and this seemed to help with his symptoms a bit. But it had aggravated his “spondylolisthesis” and he continued to suffer issues.
What is spondylolisthesis?
Mangione had suffered from spondylolisthesis since childhood - a condition where one vertebra slips forward onto the bone below it.
The surfing accident likely aggravated this pre-existing condition.
This type of structural misalignment will always be mirrored by issues in the skull. It is similar to the line of thinking of osteopaths.
Your spine is like a chain. You cannot damage one end without impacting the other. At least when it is natural causes and not an accident.
Lyme disease and brain fog
Reports indicate Mangione struggled with Lyme disease and brain fog.
Interestingly, studies show a high correlation between TMJ issues and Lyme disease patients. In fact they say that many patients get misdiagnosed with TMJ when they in fact had Lyme disease (as you can see from this TMJ website above).
I don’t think they should be classified so distinctly. TMJ and Lyme disease are probably very similar in root cause and I believe that is going to be primarily structural.
Yes you get Lyme disease by getting bitten by a tick.. but i remember looking at this years back and generally concluding that the only ones that seemed to get Lyme disease from such bites were ones that were more structurally succeptible to it.
In any case due to this state he was in… Luigi expressed frustration with the medical community's limited understanding of how to help him with these issues.
I looked for signs of orthodontics
In cases like this I immediately start googling for orthodontic work.
From available photos, Mangione appears not to have undergone orthodontic work.
Also he has pretty good structure from a skeletal standpoint. Probably better than the vast majority of Americans.
And I could tell from the way he was shouting at the press that his hormones and neurological system were still relatively strong. When these biomechanics dismantle you… you often won’t have the ‘balls’ to do this.
At least that is what I have found from my own experience.
Do I think these biomechanics would have helped him?
Without a doubt yes.
Is he a clear case of bad structure or damage from ortho? No.
But I look at it like this… back pain points to structural issues that will be mirrored in the skull.
And so that would have impacted his way of thinking. Probably being the root cause of his brain fog and altering his reality (to the point that he’d be willing to ruin his life and kill someone).
These biomechanics would have improved the back issues, gotten rid of the brain fog, and probably had him thinking clearer.
So… if he was wearing a rubber mouthguard in his mouth I DO NOT THINK HE WOULD HAVE KILLED ANYONE.
This is not a case of some inherently evil person that was a danger to society their entire life. It was a person who was off their head and took actions while in a very altered state of mind.
Closing thoughts
Luigi had so many advantages - education, wealth, physical appearance.
Yet he felt trapped, likely due to the physical and neurological symptoms he couldn't escape. The exercise & diet paradigm is completely broken and he's a good example of this.
Our current medical system’s inability to understand the root cause of these issues is what is at the true heart of the issue in my view.
When someone feels physically trapped in their own body, experiencing constant pain and cognitive difficulties, it can lead to desperate actions. And while this doesn’t excuse his actions… it does leave you thinking…
“If society simply understood these biomechanics… would stuff like this even happen?”
hmmmm

Stalin's hammer was execution. He said, "Death is the solution to all problems."
Stalin would have been so much nicer if he had viewed a rubber mouthguard as the solution to all problems.
🤔 interesting
